About Us Middle Georgia State University (MGA), a multi-campus, baccalaureate and graduate degree-granting public institution, is the most affordable public state university in Georgia. MGA has five campuses-Macon, Cochran, Dublin, Eastman, and Warner Robins, all located in central Georgia-and global outreach through its fully-online campus. Its enrollment of 8,400 students is largely comprised of students from most of Georgia's 159 counties. The University has six academic schools, including Georgia's flagship aviation program, that support its mission to educate and graduate inspired, lifelong learners whose scholarship and careers enhance the state. Job Summary This is a part-time student position within the Eastman Campus Office of Student Life, focused on supporting the planning, coordination, and execution of campus engagement activities. Responsibilities include assisting with event logistics, performing daily spot-checks of key campus spaces, checking out recreational equipment, and helping with promotional and administrative tasks. Student Workers are expected to demonstrate professionalism, provide customer service, and contribute to the welcoming and active student experience on campus. Responsibilities Assist with planning, setting up, and working Student Life events and activities (indoor and outdoor) Perform daily spot-checks of the Wellness Center (weight room and cardio room) for cleanliness and proper equipment storage Perform daily spot-checks of the Student Center/Game Room to ensure furniture and equipment are returned to their proper places Report any broken, missing, or damaged equipment from the Wellness Center or Student Center to the supervisor Oversee check-in and check-out of game consoles and games from the Student Life Office Conduct weekly checks of campus bulletin boards to remove outdated flyers and ensure new postings are visible Assist with entering Student Life events and updates into the Knight Life portal in a timely manner Attend meetings or trainings as assigned by supervisor Promote and encourage student participation in Student Life events Represent Middle Georgia State University and the Office of Student Life with professionalism and enthusiasm Required Qualifications Minimum GPA of 2.5 Currently enrolled student at Middle Georgia State University for at least 6 credit hours, 12 credit hours preferably. Students must maintain Satisfactory Academic Progress. Willing to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends.
