Student Support Specialist

May 13, 2026 Monmouth College seeks applicants for the position of Student Support Specialist. This is a full-time administrative staff position reporting to the Associate VP for Student Financial Services. The Student Support Specialist works in the Office of Student Financial Services. This office is responsible for the accurate handling of all students' financial aid and all student account collections. The office assists families from the beginning with the filing of the free application for federal student aid (FAFSA), through the explanation of the aid offers and the remaining out-of-pockets costs. In addition, the office maintains student account billing statements viewable through the college portal and manages the collection of charges. The office oversees the federal work-study program (student employment), the student and parent loan portfolios and the interest-free monthly payment plan arrangements.
