Job Description

A leading credit union serving Northwest Indiana is seeking a Part-Time Student Banking Representative for our Hammond location. This role is ideal for an energetic, community-focused professional who enjoys working with students and is passionate about financial literacy. Position Summary The Part-Time Student Banking Representativeworks closely with student members to uncover their financial needs while promoting financial literacy programs within local schools. This role serves as a liaison between the credit union and school administration, supports onsite student branch operations, and collaborates with the marketing team to increase awareness through digital and in-person initiatives. Key Responsibilities Run onsite student credit union operations at assigned schools Ensure proper marketing materials are displayed at each school Provide input to leadership on school operations and communications Implement marketing plans for student credit union branches Communicate the benefits of financial literacy to students Serve as liaison between the credit union and school administration Conduct in-class presentations (virtual and in-person) Represent the credit union at school events (open houses, PTA meetings, orientations) Research school trends and provide insights to the marketing team Assist in developing online content and videos promoting products and services Promote digital banking channels within school communities Qualifications Experience working with children of all age groups Strong presentation, writing, and communication skills Excellent time management and organizational skills Self-motivated with a strong sense of ownership Ability to work independently and collaboratively Professional, confident, and comfortable speaking to groups What We're Looking For We're seeking someone who is: ✔ Passionate about financial education ✔ Outgoing and community-driven ✔ Organized and detail-oriented ✔ Comfortable presenting to students and school staff ✔ Creative and interested in digital engagement #IND2
