Job Description

Key Responsibilities Grounds Maintenance :
This includes mowing lawns, trimming trees and shrubs, planting flowers, and ensuring pathways are clean and well-maintained.
Grave Preparation :
Duties involve digging, preparing graves according to specifications, and assisting with monument installation and repairs.
Customer Service & Support :
Interacting with grieving families and funeral directors, providing empathy and professional assistance during difficult times.
Record Keeping :
Maintaining accurate logs of burial plots, interment orders, and related cemetery documentation.
I. SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE
High school diploma or GED Basic knowledge of Department and OSHA safety policies and procedures, and ability to perform basic plumbing and electrical repairs and properly operate a variety of hand and power tools, vehicles and heavy equipment, including wrenches, screw drivers, air compressor, shovels, rakes, brooms, mops, riding mower, push mower, snow blower, and tractor.
Physical Stamina :
Many tasks involve manual labor and working outdoors.

Essential for interacting with grieving families. Attention to
Detail :
Important for tasks like grave preparation and record-keeping.
Organizational Skills :
Necessary for managing schedules, records, and administrative tasks. May work weekends. May serve on 24-hour on call for emergencies.
Pay:
Up to $51,480.00 per year
