Jul 1, 2026 Job Description Uniontown Elementary School is seeking a highly-effective, qualified, & proven leader to serve as Principal beginning with the 2026-27 school year. The position requires active administrative certification or Statement of Eligibility (SOE) for Instructional Leadership - School Principal issued by the Kentucky Education Professional Standards Board (EPSB). In addition, the preferred applicant will have successful, progressive, and innovative administrative experience, preferably at the middle school level. The preferred applicant will also demonstrate the ability to proactively support and lead faculty and staff in sound instructional practices, effective communication/interaction skills, and embrace a continuous growth/improvement mindset. The candidate will strive to "Be Brave. Learn. Lead. Succeed." for each employee & student at UES.
