Coordinator of Extended Day Program
QUALIFICATIONS
Master's degree Appropriate teaching and administrative license Five or more years of successful teaching and/or administrative experience Experience with Smart Start Extended Day Experience with after-school, summer, and out-of-school time programs Strong curriculum background and knowledge of the curriculum frameworks Ability to work a flexible work schedule. Must be available to monitor after-school, Saturday, vacation, and summer programs
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop after-school, extended day, evening, Saturday, summer and vacation academic/enrichment Implement and supervise programs Coordinate and design curriculum Oversee state vouchers through EEC and PACE Maintain EZ Child Track Management System Keep financial records, data, prepare reports, and develop budget programs Collaborate with Central Administrators, Principals, and Department Heads Advertise, recruit, interview, hire and evaluate staff for programs Conduct all intake paperwork for any incoming student/family; maintain the records Maintain a record of the attendance Bill EEC monthly through their online Child Care Financial Assistance system and manage reimbursements Perform all other related duties as assigned by the Director of Community Schools
COMPENSATION
Compensation is according to the contract
Ratio:
1.40
WORK YEAR:
12-month administrator: flexible work schedule (8 hour work day)
FUNDING SOURCE
Extended Day A resume of the applicant's educational and professional background should accompany the letter of application. A copy of both teaching and administrative license should also be submitted.
