$150,000 - $160,000Job DescriptionConcord-Carlisle High School is seeking an Assistant Principal who is passionate about working directly with students and teachers to maximize their potential. The Assistant Principal provides leadership to the school community consistent with our mission and core values. The Assistant Principal assists in the daily operations of the school by employing effective and efficient student-centered practices. The successful candidate will implement assigned policies and directives and work collaboratively as part of the Co-Principals Administrative team. The ideal candidate will be a passionate educator with a deep understanding of effective, culturally responsive instructional practices and a proven ability to support teachers to enhance student learning for all learners. As a collaborative lifelong learner, the Assistant Principal will partner with faculty to elevate instructional practices, enrich the curriculum, and drive student engagement towards equitable outcomes for all students. The successful candidate will help promote the academic and social-emotional success of all students, demonstrate accountability and fiscal responsibility, meet legal requirements, and display a high degree of personal integrity, fairness, and professionalism in all matters. The Assistant Principal will play a vital role in developing a positive school culture. The Assistant Principal must have strong communication skills to engage students, staff, parents, and community members. Some Responsibilities of this
Role:
Empower students from Boston, Carlisle, and Concord to reach their full potential.

Provide instructional leadership by coaching and developing teachers through observation, modeling, and data analysis.

Demonstrate a deep understanding of (and preferably experience with) the Massachusetts Supervision and Evaluation instrument.

Collect and analyze student achievement data to inform strategic improvement recommendations.

Lead the analysis of disaggregated student data to inform instructional decisions and oversee robust academic intervention frameworks, including MTSS.Deliver professional development workshops focused on culturally responsive teaching and equitable outcomes.

Facilitate collaborative learning opportunities for teachers to share best practices, with a focus on equity and diversity.

Administer and enforce school policies regarding student discipline and attendance.

Plan and lead comprehensive professional development initiatives.

Assist the Co-Principals and the Leadership Team with teacher recruitment and hiring.

Attend major school events and other school-sponsored activities and functions.

Collaborate with school administration on daily operations while representing a united leadership team.

Report directly to the Co-Principals.

A bachelor's degree, secondary teaching experience, and a Massachusetts Principal/Assistant Principal license are required. A masters degree or higher is preferred.
