Days Primary Purpose:
Provide instructional leadership and administrative support to ensure the effective implementation of academic programs, intervention services, student support systems, and campus initiatives. Assist the principal in promoting high levels of student achievement, staff effectiveness, and a positive school culture.
Qualifications:
Education/Certification:
Master's degree in educational leadership Valid Texas Principal certificate
T-TESS Evaluator Special Knowledge/Skills:
Knowledge of middle school curriculum, instruction, and assessment practices. Ability to analyze and interpret student performance data. Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills. Ability to lead teams, manage programs, and support continuous improvement. Knowledge of applicable education laws, policies, and procedures.
Experience:
Two years teaching experience Two years administrative or coordinator experience preferred
Major Responsibilities and Duties:
Instructional Leadership Assist in the development, implementation, and evaluation of the campus improvement plan. Analyze student achievement data and collaborate with teachers and instructional teams to improve outcomes. Coordinate academic intervention programs, enrichment opportunities, and support services. Support professional learning communities (PLCs) and instructional planning processes. Program Management Oversee assigned campus programs, including intervention, enrichment, testing, special projects, 504 programs, LPACS, and other district initiatives. Coordinate state and district assessment programs and ensure testing compliance. Assist with master scheduling and program placement for students. Student Support and School Climate Promote a safe, positive, and inclusive learning environment. Coordinate campus SEL initiatives including scheduling, training, and implementing a campus wide SEL program. Collaborate with counselors, teachers, and families to address student academic and behavioral needs. Assist with student discipline in accordance with district policies and state laws. Staff Supervision and Development Assist in supervising and evaluating assigned personnel, including T-TESS evaluations. Provide coaching and feedback to teachers and staff to improve instructional effectiveness. Facilitate professional development aligned with campus goals. Support recruitment, onboarding, and retention of high-quality staff. Campus Operations Assist with daily campus operations and supervision. Ensure compliance with district, state, and federal requirements. Coordinate campus events, activities, and special programs assigned. Maintain accurate records and prepare required reports. Community and Family Engagement Foster positive relationships with students, parents, and community members. Communicate campus goals, programs, and student expectations to stakeholders. Participate in parent meetings, school events, and community outreach activities. Customer Care Skills Provide professional communication with students, parents, community members, staffff, and other professionals at all times. Provide professional communication with students, parents, community members, staff, and other professionals. 24. Always use proper phone etiquette, speaking slowly and clearly.? Take reliable messages and route to the appropriate staff. Ensure superior customer care skills are used via eye contact, facial expressions, voice inflections, body language, and an attitude?of "going the extra mile" for others. Ensure all requests for information are dealt with in an appropriate timeframe. Create and maintain a welcoming, service-oriented environment toward all internal and external customers.
