Immediately Job Description Minuteman High School is seeking a qualified Assistant Athletic Director for the 2026-2027 school year. This position assists Athletic Director and participates in all aspects of athletic support related to student athletes and provides backup to the Athletic Director. This position is not eligible to take part in any coaching positions in or out of the building without the building principal's permission. This is a stipend position, with responsibilities and compensation detailed below.
Major Responsibilities:
Game Administrator as needed during all three seasons. Collaborate with the Athletic Trainer to ensure athletes' training needs are met. Assist in scheduling the Athletic trainer to make sure all sporting events are appropriately covered. To have knowledge to
ALL MIAA
rules in the MIAA handbook. MIAA.net. Maintain accurate inventories of all athletic equipment; distributing and collecting uniforms. Develop and implement in-service training program for the members of the coaching department. Assist in pre-season clearance of all student-athletes, medically and parent permissions. Help in the planning and organizing of the three (3) Sports Banquets. Attend C.A.C. & Vocational A.D. meetings when the Athletic Director is unavailable. Collects reports/equipment from coaches at end of each season. Assist with transportation when the Athletic Director is unavailable. Track that all student-athletes are academically and vocationally eligible to participate in sports. Recording and follow-up of athletic injuries incurred. Know and assist in procedures to be followed by coaches in caring for athletes injured during an athletic contest. Assist in the supervision of all professional services, filming of games, laundry, reconditioning, etc. Assist in making of provisions for medical services at athletic contests when required by the MIAA. The purchasing of all departmental supplies and equipment. Assist administration with interviewing, hiring, supervision, and evaluations of staff in dept. The carrying out of any other duties as may be assigned by the Superintendent Director or Principal.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree. A minimum of three years teaching and coaching experience. Well-rounded knowledge of physical conditioning methods. A valid First Aid Certificate from the American Red Cross, including CPR training. Excellent verbal and written communications skills. Demonstrated leadership and facilitative skills.
Additional Requirements:
This position includes but is not limited to: interacting with the public, walking around the school, standing for periods, occasionally lifting and carrying items, reading documents, using a computer, listening and speaking, using office equipment, maintaining energy throughout the day, and handling stress effectively.

Effective Dates of Employment:
This is a stipend position for the 2026-2027 school year. The person who fills this position will be the contact for any relevant and important information prior to the start of the school year.

Compensation:
The total annual stipend for this position is $13,780.
