Description
PURPOSE OF THIS POSITION
The Student Hub Greeter is a student position that is vital to the success of the Student Hub and is a great opportunity to grow your professional skills. The position will support the operations of the Student Hub and is responsible for welcoming and guiding visitors as they enter the Student Hub. The Student Hub Greeter will work closely with the departments located within the Student Hub to best support their needs. The position will require familiarity with the various departments across campus to help respond to student's commonly asked questions. The role will include basic office tasks, such as photocopying, answering phones, scheduling, computer skills, and other administrative tasks as assigned.

The Student Hub Greeter will demonstrate professionalism and provide quality customer service in accordance with the values of Western New England University. This position will maintain confidentiality, positive communication, accurate records, and ensure a safe working and learning environment.
Essential Job Functions:
Greet and welcome visitors to the Student Hub. Evaluate inquires and provide direction. Work with staff located within the Student Hub to support appointments (notification of student arrival, scheduling appointments for students, etc.). Maintain cleanliness and organization of the Student Hub's physical space. Enter information into databases or Microsoft Forms. Assist with Student Hub projects or events. Answer phone and provide information accordingly. Provide excellent customer service. Qualifications
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILL AND ABILITIES
Must be a current, enrolled WNE student. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Demonstrates a positive attitude and strong work ethic. Ability to multi-task and manage competing priorities.
ERGONOMIC REQUIREMENTS
Work is performed in an office environment and requires the ability to operate standard office equipment and lift small items. The position is predominately stationary, but occasional movement throughout the Student Hub will be required.
