Wyandotte Public Schools Early Childhood Center Posting TITLE:
Office Assistant SUMMARY:
The Office Assistant is responsible for assisting with day-to-day office tasks, maintaining inventories, planning/organizing special school events, and providing office and classroom coverage as needed.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
assist in day-to-day office responsibilities provide coverage for the Administrative Assistant maintain inventories of supplies for classrooms, the office, and maintenance work with Director to plan/organize special school events maintain staff, student, and family confidentiality provide classroom coverage as needed adhere to all policies and procedures set forth for WPS, the ECC, and the State of Michigan Child Care Licensing guidelines other duties as assigned by the Director.
QUALIFICATIONS
Two years' experience working in a school setting preferred must have or be able to obtain Pediatric CPR/First Aid certification must successfully pass a Comprehensive Background Check strong organizational and interpersonal skills and the ability to multitask flexibility to work in all areas of the building, including classrooms working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Google
REPORTING RELATIONSHIP
The Office Assistant reports directly to the Early Childhood Director and works cooperatively with other Early Childhood staff within the school building and District.
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT
Work Year:
Two weeks before the start of the school year and one week after the end of the school year.
Work Week:
40 hours per week - schedule TBD This is an at-will, contracted position through a third-party contractor.
Base salary:
$18.00 per hour. Holidays and sick days per annual Work Agreement. Regular and predictable attendance is expected. Please submit a letter of introduction, resume, and letter of recommendation to:
