Job Description
High School Director SUMMARY The High School Director leads and grows a vibrant, faith-driven ministry that empowers high school students to live boldly in their faith. This role provides strategic leadership for programming, volunteer development, retreats, and events that foster lasting spiritual formation and a strong sense of belonging. This person plays a key role in mentoring students and building bridges between church, family, and community

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
High School Ministry Leadership Lead and teach Wednesday Night High School programming during the school year (primary speaker at least 75% of the time). Lead and manage Summer High School programming (excluding Summer Associates). Design and direct Fall & Winter Retreats . Oversee all planning, communication, and logistics for Summer Mission Trips . Develop and implement a strategy for transitioning 8th graders into High School . Volunteer Leadership Recruit, train, and spiritually develop all High School volunteers. Foster a leadership culture where adult and student volunteers thrive. Strategic Ministry Collaboration Collaborate with the Middle School Director to shape Sunday programming and transitions. Partner with the Family Ministry Team to lead: Student Preaching Group Special events (Friendsgiving, Prom, Hearing from God Night, etc.) Communication with High School families Summer Associates Program oversightTEAM COLLABORATION
Determine & implement strategic plan for Sunday Student Ministry Programming in collaboration with Middle School Director Provide strategic vision & leadership to Student Preaching Group in collaboration with Family Ministry Team Provide strategic vision & leadership to High School special events in collaboration with Family Ministry Team Friendsgiving, Christmas Party, Hearing from God night, High School Prom, End of Year Party, Graduation Weekend Determine & implement strategic plan for 8th graders transitioning to high school in collaboration with Middle School Director Provide support to Summer Associates Program under the direction of the Family Ministry Pastor Provide accurate & timely communication for High School Families in collaboration with Family Ministry Team Participate in the set up and tear down of Wednesday night programmingADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES
Student Contact Hours Provide presence in the community (presence at schools, games, student events) Serve at Thursday morning Moms in Step Childcare Provide consistent leadership presence at Saturday Night services Familiarize yourself with and regularly utilize CCB Manage all High School budgeted funds with fiscal responsibility Staff Meetings; Aspen Grove, Woodridge, Family Ministry, One on One Provide care for Woodridge families Participate in Woodridge church wide events; SuperHero Camp, VBS, Baptisms, Dinners, Thanksgiving Eve Service, Easter, Christmas, Annual Meeting, Funerals.
