Job Description
Child Nutrition Field Manager/ Office Assistant
Essential job duties:
Provides technical assistance to the CN director, school managers, and staff to implement/monitor program goals and objectives.
Responsible for submitting and proccessing orders to vendors as needed by the CN director.
Enter ingredients in Linq School Nutrition, assist in maintaining inventory into Linq School Nutrition.
Assist CN director and CN bookkeeper for school nutrition in all duties (will be cross trained) Assist in new employee training,annual reviews of breakfast and lunch and annual manager reviews.
Assist with onboarding of new or transitioning managers, help execute training, work flow and staff scheduling.
Will step in as interim manager if an unexpected absence or vacancy occurs.
Ensure program compliance with planned menus, standarized recipes and food quality.
Assist with procuring foods and supplies, following established procedures and keeping weekly orders, price changes, as well as keeping records of price comparisions for request for quotes.
Assist with developing bids for supplies/groceries.
Assist CN Bookkeeper with monthly bank reconciliation, purchase orders, generating checks and ordering deposit slips, ect.
Submits annual program applications with DPI.
Assists with second party review of meal applications.
Other duties as assigned by the CN director.
Ability to work as a team player.
Requirments:
3-5 years experience as a Child Nutrition Manager.
High School Diploma/GED.
Working knowledge of equipment use and care in the food service cafeterias.
Working knowledge of POS/Financial software programs. (LINQ)
Ability to communicate well with parents, school/program staff, vendors, and the general public, and ACS administrators.
Serve Safe or Safe Plates certification.
40 hours/week
11 months/school year

Based on qualifications and years of experience.
