Job Description

PURPOSE OF THE JOB
The Student Support office exists to be the primary resource for students at Southeastern. The Student Support office answers student questions, connects students as needed to appropriate offices, manages student resources, and executes hybrid weekends.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Effectively answer student questions by phone and email. Help students register for classes and understand which degree programs align with their current circumstances (on-campus or online). Provide basic support for computer systems including Microsoft 365, Learning, and Self‑Service. Perform data processing and administrative tasks as needed. Write effective emails notifying students of critical updates.
OTHER DUTIES & REPONSIBILITIES
(Responsibilities/important duties performed occasionally or in addition to the essential duties of the position.) Must be available to help with hybrid weekend special events.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS
(Indicate which are required, preferred, or desirable. Include licenses and certificates.) Proficient people and communication skills required. Proficient English skills required. High level of comfort at talking on the phone required.

On-campus Pay:
$13.50/hour
Hours:
We are looking for someone who is generally available to work 12pm-5pm Monday-Thursday and 8am-4pm on Fridays. This position is restricted to current or incoming SEBTS students or spouses of SEBTS students.
