Competitive Salary based on experience; 8 hours/day for 260 days (full year)
POSITION DESCRIPTION
BSD is seeking a full-time District Special Education Administrator for the 2026-2027 contract year. Duties include, but are not limited to: Management of Special Education programs; facilitating communications between staff, parents, and outside agencies; anticipating student needs for programming and coordinating program impact on budgets and personnel; as LEA, keeps Building Administrators and SAU Administration informed of program recommendations; assists and coordinates ESY programs; supervises and evaluates support staff and assists Building Administrators with evaluation of professional staff; facilitates transitions between grade levels and buildings for special education students; other duties as assigned
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Qualified candidates will have a minimum of 5 years relevant work experience; must possess a Master's Degree in Special Education; NH Special Education Administrator certification (or acceptable equivalent) or ability to required; Must have a valid driver's license and be able to pass a State and Federal Criminal Background Check
