Desired Qualities and Experience:
Previous experience in school settings is valued but not required. High school diploma is required; no additional certifications necessary. Enthusiasm for working with students and collaborating with educators. Ability to work independently and as a flexible part of a team. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Candidates must provide three completed references, including one from their most recent manager, before the interview process.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide support to students in classroom and 1:1 settings, helping them stay engaged and succeed academically and socially. Assist teachers with instructional tasks and classroom management. Observe, encourage, and facilitate student learning and participation. Foster a positive, inclusive, and respectful learning environment. Adapt support strategies to meet individual student needs under the guidance of teaching staff.
Role Details and Perks:
Contract positions from September 1, 2026 to June 16, 2027. Both middle and high school schedules available, with 32.5 hours per week (middle school hours: 7:10am-2:10pm; high school hours: 7:30am-2:30pm, both with a 30-minute unpaid lunch).
