July 1, 2026 The Merrimack School District is seeking an Elementary School Assistant Principal at Reed's Ferry Elementary who is an enthusiastic and forward-thinking leader and a student first advocate committed to facilitating the success of all learners. The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate:
  • Strong relationships skills with students, staff, parents, and community members
  • Effective written and oral communication skills
  • Support for nurturing school and community partnership
  • Experience in providing multiple pathways for student success
  • A willing embrace of challenge
  • Experience and engagement in staff supervision and an embrace of our supervisory model
  • Capacity and willingness to support professional growth among all staff
  • Collaborative problem-solving skills through a team approach
  • Commitment to the principles of continuous improvement
  • Leadership in innovative approaches to teaching and learning
  • A commitment to the integration of technology
  • Extensive knowledge of curriculum, instruction, and assessment
  • Understanding of the complexities of scheduling and budget development
Qualifications:
