This role contributes to a welcoming, efficient, and equitable testing environment that supports academic achievement and persistence. Minimum Qualifications Equivalencies not found for this position Preferred Qualifications Key Responsibilities Administer tests for students including course exams and placement assessments, ensuring equitable access and academic integrity Follow established protocols and compliance standards for secure, accurate test proctoring Support student success initiatives by assisting with scheduling, coordination, and timely communication via the Testing Center email account Serve as a frontline resource for students and staff, providing accurate information, answering calls, and directing visitors Maintain and consult testing records while ensuring confidentiality and data integrity Promote a welcoming and inclusive environment through high-quality customer service and culturally responsive interactions Contribute to efficient daily operations and continuous improvement efforts within the Testing Center Assist with additional projects and center needs during lower-volume periods to support overall team effectiveness Minimum Qualifications Ability to manage calendar appointments and scheduling systems Basic computer skills, including email and Microsoft Office applications Currently enrolled UNM student eligible for Federal Work-Study Preferred Qualifications Strong communication and student-centered customer service skills Ability to manage confidential information with professionalism and discretion Demonstrated reliability, organization, and ability to work independently Commitment to supporting a diverse and inclusive campus community Willingness to assist with operational and improvement projects as needed Application Instructions Only applications submitted through the official UNMJobs site will be accepted.
