Job Description Avon Central School District is looking for a Director of Pupil Personnel Services. This is a 12-month position with an anticipated start date of November 1, 2026. For job details and description, see the Avon Employment opportunities webpage. Job Qualifications
An earned Master's Degree.
Valid New York State School District Administrator (SDA), School Administrator and Supervisor (SAS), School Building Leader (SBL) and/or School District Leader (SDL).
Demonstrated leadership and ability to work effectively with groups and individuals, demonstrated skills in organizing ideas and presenting them with clarity and conciseness, demonstrated experience in special education programs and instruction, ability to make sound decisions, and withstand pressures.
Successful administrative experience preferred; a minimum of five years successful teaching experience or related education; demonstrated knowledge of NYS learning standards, UPK-12 state and local assessments; experience and/or ability to review and analyze data to improve instructional practices and ensure school accountability; ability to monitor and write grants.
