The Interim Superintendent of Schools, Dr. Ebony Prophet-Bullock, is interested in receiving applications from qualified candidates for the position of: Supervisor of State Reporting & Data Protection

QUALIFICATIONS
Candidates must hold a Master's degree and a valid New York State School Building Leader certificate (SBL), New York State School Administrator/Supervisor certificate(SAS), New York State School District Leader certificate (SDL), New York State School District Administrator certificate (SDA), or New York State Administrator Certification at time of application. It is required that candidates must attach a PDF or a screen shot of their certifications. It is required that candidates must have three years of combined and approved teaching or administrative experience.
Experience in working with:
external providers, multiple schools and systems, deadlines, and autonomously will be considered in evaluating each candidate's qualifications. Excellent presentation, verbal and written communication skills are also required for this position.
RESPONSIBILITIES
The Supervisor of State Reporting and Data Protection will report to the Director of Accountability and will be responsible for, but not limited to: Assist with State Reporting Provide weekly checks of all Level 1 and 2 reports and submit corrections to the Assistant Superintendent of Accountability Assist with managing and fulfilling District Data and FOIL requests Assist with managing Data Sharing Agreements for all vendors who request access to BPS data This includes the following: Compiling a list of all vendors, contracted or free, who access student data and ensuring they sign a data sharing agreement Regularly report vendors out of compliance to the Assistant Superintendent of Accountability Ensure that all vendors, institutions, researchers and citizens who request data complete all required documentation for data privacy. Ensure that all MOAs/MOUs include a data sharing agreement Assist with ensuring the District is in compliance with Ed Law 2D
APPOINTMENT
Appointment will be made by the Board of Education upon the recommendation of the Superintendent following the assessment of training, experience, credentials, evaluation of service, program needs, and personal interview.
