Job Opening Information Shared School Business Official Application Deadline 8/19/2026 Position Title Shared School Business Official Required Application Type School Related Personnel Salary/Pay Scale $90,000 - $105,000 Job Description Provide leadership and support to the Central Business Office (CBO) Plan, organize, and direct accounting functions for the CBO Maintain detailed accounting records reflecting the status of each appropriation Prepare and submit required financial reports on behalf of the district Perform all required fiscal manager/treasurer duties for assigned districts Supervise and manage CBO staff in daily operations Oversee the CBO payroll department, addressing staff questions and resolving issues related to payroll functions Perform other duties as assigned Job Qualifications Current NYS School District Business Leader (SDBL) or School Business Administrator (SBA) certification required Accounting background required Knowledge of applicable federal and New York State laws, regulations, and requirements Knowledge of accepted accounting and financial reporting methods Ability to lead, supervise, and evaluate staff Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team Strong written and verbal communication skills Superior analytical and planning abilities Demonstrated commitment to equity, cultural responsiveness, and inclusive practices Application Procedure Click on the green "" button at the bottom of the posting to complete the online application and submit required certification credentials, resume, and cover letter.
