Job Description
The West Seneca Central School District has an immediate administrative vacancy for an Elementary Principal at Winchester-Potters Elementary School. The Elementary School Principal is responsible for performing the administrative and management functions necessary for carrying out the day-to-day educational and operational missions of the school and the district. This is a full-time, probationary appointment for the ideal candidate with salary and benefits paid, according to the West Seneca School Administrators' Association's (WSSAA) collective bargaining agreement. Salary is commensurate with experience. The timeline for all interested candidates is as follows. T he hiring committee will meet and screen applications as early as August 10, 2026. On Tuesday, August 11, 2026, screening interviews will take place for selected candidates and the second round, committee interviews are scheduled for Thursday, August 13, 2026. Finalists will meet with our District's Executive Leadership Team on Wednesday, August 19, 2026, with a new hire recommendation/appointment presented to the West Seneca Central School District's Board of Education at their September 8, 2026, board meeting. We are looking for a tentative start date of Tuesday, October 13, 2026.
