We are seeking an exceptional school leader who is passionate about student achievement, instructional excellence, and building strong school cultures. Position Summary The Principal serves as the instructional and operational leader of the school. This individual is responsible for driving student achievement, developing staff, fostering a positive school culture, and ensuring the effective day-to-day management of the building. The successful candidate will be a highly visible leader who can inspire staff, engage families, analyze data, and create systems that support both academic excellence and student success. Key ResponsibilitiesInstructional Leadership Lead the implementation of rigorous, standards-aligned instruction. Monitor classroom instruction through observations, coaching, and feedback. Analyze student achievement data and develop strategies to improve outcomes. Ensure effective use of curriculum, assessments, interventions, and progress monitoring systems. Lead schoolwide academic planning and continuous improvement efforts. Staff Leadership & Development Recruit, hire, supervise, and evaluate teachers and staff. Build leadership capacity among Assistant Principals and teacher leaders. Provide ongoing coaching, professional development, and performance feedback. Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous growth. School Culture & Student Success Establish and maintain a safe, structured, and positive learning environment. Implement effective behavior management systems and restorative practices. Monitor attendance, discipline, and student engagement data. Promote a culture of high expectations for students and staff. School Operations Oversee daily school operations, schedules, supervision plans, and building procedures. Ensure compliance with all state, federal, and organizational requirements. Partner with district and network leaders to support operational excellence. Manage resources effectively to maximize student outcomes. Family & Community Engagement Build strong relationships with families and community partners. Communicate regularly regarding student progress and school initiatives. Represent the school and Educational Solutions within the broader community. QualificationsRequired Bachelor's degree. Valid Ohio Principal License (or ability to obtain). Minimum of 5 years of successful educational experience. Minimum of 3 years of leadership experience as a principal, assistant principal, dean, instructional coach, or similar leadership role. Demonstrated success improving student achievement and school performance. Experience using data to drive instructional decision-making. Strong knowledge of curriculum, assessment, intervention, and instructional best practices. Preferred Master's degree in Educational Leadership or related field. Experience in urban education, charter schools, or turnaround school environments. Experience leading diverse student populations and implementing MTSS, PBIS, and restorative practices. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Strong instructional leadership and coaching skills. Ability to build and lead high-performing teams. Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
