General Sherman Junior High Qualifications for above positions: High school diploma Valid state license to practice as an Educational Aide Passage of the Paraprofessional Test or 2 year degree Classroom experience with handicapped students Ability to work with students with behavior difficulties Must be able to deal appropriately with students who exhibit emotional or behavioral problems, aggressive behavior, or physical problems Physically capable to apply CPI techniques when necessary Clear BCI/FBI report Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Superintendent and/or Board of Education may find appropriate
