JOB SUMMARY
The Site Administrator is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the assigned center. The Site Administrator will supervise all staff of the center and work in conjunction with the Managers to ensure delivery of services. The Site Administrator will conduct activities to ensure compliance with all Head Start rules and regulations; licensing laws and all funding source regulations. The Site Administrator will act in a professional manner at all times.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Has knowledge of and abides by Community Action Commission of Erie, Huron & Richland Counties, Inc. Policies and Procedures, Union Contract, Performance Standards, Licensing Rules and Regulations, and Service Delivery Plans and ensures compliance. 2. Ensure that all children enrolled are in compliance by maintaining and updating required documentation. 3. Ensure compliance with all required licenses and inspections. 4. Promote parent involvement and encourage parent participation in program activities. 5. Ensure and assist with activities to recruit children eligible for Head Start. 6. Supervise, coordinate and assist assigned staff in the implementation of service delivery areas. 7. Assist in updating the Service Delivery Plans. 8. Conduct monitoring, observation and evaluation of center staff and provide on-site consultation and staff development. 9. Identify, report and provide information for supportive services in child abuse cases and work in conjunction with management staff. 10. Promote a sense of teamwork with all staff, management, parents, and the community. 11. Coordinate and participate in staffing, IEP meetings and IEP conferences for children with disabilities. Ensure referrals for children and families are initiated in a timely manner and follow

13. Monitor minimum of eighty-five percent (85%) of average daily attendance (ADA). 14. Plan, conduct and document monthly meetings and training for staff and parents. 15. Ensure that their center has at least one representative to Policy Council at all times. 16. Work in conjunction with other site Administrators, Management and Head Start Director in planning, coordinating and service delivery areas within the organization. 17. Inspect facilities and report any needed repairs to appropriate personnel. 18. Generate monthly reports and ensure all information is being entered into the Child Plus software in a timely manner. 19. Attend meetings of the Health Services Advisory Committee and other related community committees as directed. 20. Utilize technology to enhance capacity of agency. 21. Attend in service training and all other training as assigned by the Head Start Director. 22. Must understand community actions and is committed to agency culture; act as a role model. 23. Be effective at team building and creating positive morale. 24. Maintain the confidentiality of privileged information. 25. Be familiar with and have an understanding of the agency's mission, strategic plan, goals and measures. 26. Maintain a neat and clean professional appearance and demeanor at all times, and exercise good health habits related to personal hygiene. 27. All other duties and responsibilities as assigned by Head Start Director.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS/EXPECTATIONS
1. Bachelor Degree in early childhood Education or Pre-K Certification preferred. 2. Minimum Associate Degree in Early Childhood Education or related field or CDA Credential. Must demonstrate ability to supervise personnel. Some supervisory experience preferred. 5. Must have computer experience and knowledge of all other office equipment. 6. Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills, strong organizational and record-keeping skills. 7. Must have understanding and awareness of the needs of low-income families. 8. Willing to travel out-of-town and overnight for training. 9. Must have access to operational automobile on a daily basis and proof of liability. 10. Physical exam, background check, and pre-employment drug screen as required. 11. Must have the physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs. I have read and understand this job description.
