8/13/2026 Gettysburg Area School District is hiring for a Supervisor of Special Education for the 2026-2027 school year. This position is one of two Special Education Supervisors for the District and would primarily be focused at the Elementary Level. The Special Education Supervisor provides leadership, coordination and supervision for special education programs and services serving students throughout the District. This role focuses on ensuring compliance with the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA) and Pennsylvania's Chapter 14 regulations.
Minimum Qualifications:
Must hold a valid and active PA Supervisor of Special Education Certificate or Principal PK-12 certificate Bachelor's degree At least five (5) years of Special Education teaching experience
Preferred Qualifications:
Master's degree in Education, Special Education Experience and familiarity with PA Chapter 14, Chapter 16 (Gifted), and secondary transition mandates Experience with monitoring and interpreting data and evaluation reports. Evidence of strong communication and organizational skills Individuals interested should apply no later than April 30, 2026.
