Job Description

Seeking knowledgeable applicants with strong interpersonal and communication skills for permanent 12-month administrative assistant position. Works 244 days - allotment of sick, personal and vacation days Health benefits, family coverage Life insurance This position reports to the Director of Student Services located in the District Administrative Offices.
Skills and Qualifications:
Attention to detail and accuracy Ability to organize and prioritize materials and tasks Work independently Ability to problem-solve Multi-task in a fast-paced work environment Computer skills - applications such as Word, Excel, and IEPWriter Operate various office equipment Appropriately handle confidential information Respond in a timely manner to inquires from community members and staff Responsibilities (including but not limited to): Assist School Psychologists Adhere to compliance timelines for Student Service evaluations Send permissions to parents/guardians for evaluations Manage a shared spreadsheet to track permissions/timelines Monitor/order subscriptions, renewals and supplies Coordinate services with outside providers Maintain out of district student files Coordinate and complete necessary forms for student placement in out of district programs Manage master spreadsheet to track student placement and educational information Schedule meetings as follow up to evaluations Assist with executing contracts and agreements Manage district Student Services classified employee spreadsheet and maintain training detail Must pass district admistrative assistant skills test when scheduled.
