This role works closely with the Director to ensure high-quality programming, strong staff support, and a positive learning environment for all students. The Assistant Director will assist with staff supervision, program organization, and maintaining operational standards. Key Responsibilities Assist the Director with daily school operations and administrative tasks. Support staff supervision, scheduling, and professional development. Help ensure curriculum activities are implemented effectively. Maintain a safe, organized, and welcoming environment for students and staff. Communicate with parents and families regarding programs, updates, and student needs. Assist with enrollment processes, attendance tracking, and record keeping. Support compliance with applicable state and organizational regulations. Help coordinate school events, programs, and activities. Address operational needs and support the continuous improvement of programs. Qualifications Associate's degree in Education, Child Development, Business Administration, or a related field preferred (equivalent work experience may also be considered). 2-3 years of experience in an educational, childcare, or youth program setting. Demonstrated leadership, organizational, and communication skills. Experience working with staff, students, and families in a professional setting. Ability to work collaboratively and handle multiple responsibilities. Preferred Skills Experience in early childhood education, private school, or enrichment programs. Supervisory or team leadership experience. Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills. Familiarity with administrative or student management systems.
