You'll join a school and district culture where your voice is valued, and your work truly matters What You'll Do The Assistant Principal is responsible for aiding the principal in the operation of the school facility, programs and personnel. Each assistant principal is directly responsible to the building principal and is responsible for a grade level student cohort which will rotate on an annual basis. In some cases, responsibilities will be shared by the assistant principals. In other cases, each assistant principal will be solely responsible to oversee certain operations. Education, Training, and Experience Master's Degree. A valid Pennsylvania certificate as a PK-12 Principal or a Secondary 7-12 Principal. Minimum five (5) years experience as a teacher. Strong analytical, organizational, and leadership skills. Ability to communicate effectively and build strong relationships with staff and students. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Attend IEP/MDT meetings Assist the principal with scheduling Conduct classroom observations of teachers and the follow-up evaluations Assist in the development of planned courses Attend department meetings as needed Attend evening events as directed by principal Review student records from eighth grade to aid transition Review and plan appropriate strategies for at-risk students Prepare (with home school visitor) for any legal action required for attendance issues Address discipline referrals for the grade level assignment Address discipline referrals and follow up (teacher and parent) Attend faculty meetings Monitor movement of students at beginning, during and ending of the day Attend to other duties as assigned by the principal What We Offer You Competitive salary and benefits package.

Salary Range:
