Job Description

Advise students concerning their academic plans and progress, academic schedule, program of study, and other academic activities and career goals, while also coordinating the faculty advisement and recruiting activities of the division. Assist with and engage in recruitment of divisional programs. Contact previously enrolled students to provide information and resources concerning College reentry. Actively work case management assignments for students to include planning classes, assisting with registration, and referring students to appropriate resources. Provide academic advisement services to prospective and current division students. Assist in coordinating and managing student educational plans for division students. Provide registration services to students during scheduled registration periods each academic term. Work collaboratively to develop programs, student groups or campus events that support and enhance the experience of division students. Manage an online learning community and division-wide email mailbox designed for students to engage with faculty, advisors and academic leadership. Complete training and professional development activities as assigned by the College. Attend department, division, and/or program advisory committee meetings as appropriate. Performs other duties as assigned A bachelor's degree and experience in student services programs. Experience working in student services including advising students in various academic programs. Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook
