Job Description
All Saints Catholic School has created the Campus Life Coordinator to support the total formation of our students. An education at ASCS includes far more than just the learning in the classroom and those opportunities need the attention of a dedicated professional. The Campus Life Coordinator plays a crucial role in enhancing the overall student experience, supporting school events, and fostering a positive school culture. The Campus Life Coordinator will oversee various aspects of campus life, including communications, overseeing the aftercare program and after-school activities, coordinating school events, and assisting with special projects from the Principal and President.
Role and Responsibilities
Supports and upholds the philosophy of Catholic education and the mission of the school
Acts as a witness to the Gospel values by modeling the teachings of the Catholic Church
Communications and Digital Media
School Newsletter and Graphic Design:
Design, manage, and distribute the weekly school newsletter using Canva. Create professional, brand-consistent graphics for school events, parent communications, and digital platforms.
Online Parent Resources:
Design and maintain any family-facing pages (i.e. Community Board & Summer Programs) to ensure parents have centralized, up-to-date access to academic and school life information.
Content Coordination:
Collaborate with the Principal, teachers, and staff to gather, verify, and publish school announcements, calendar updates, and multimedia content.
After School and Camp Leadership
Aftercare Leadership:
Direct the daily operations of the aftercare program, which includes managing staff schedules, approving timesheets, tracking attendance for billing, and overseeing student behavior and parent communication.
After-School Programs:
Coordinate schedules and facility usage for all after-school clubs and programs. Ensure all outside vendors meet insurance and Safe Environment compliance requirements.
Summer Camps:
Serve as the main liaison for teacher-led and vendor-led summer camps, handling scheduling, logistics, facility assignments, and parent inquiries.
Operations, Facilities, and Logistics
Facilities and Master Calendar:
Manage the school master calendar and facility usage requests to prevent overlap. Coordinate logistical needs for events (security, setup, staffing) and lead weekly operational meetings with maintenance, IT, and security teams.
Field Trip Oversight:
With the Principal, oversee the field trip process, ensuring teacher compliance with protocols, securing bus transportation, and coordinating with the school nurse and cafeteria for student needs.
Cafeteria Management:
Oversee lunchroom operations by managing aftercare staff on lunch duty, coordinating parent volunteers, and ensuring a clean and appropriate lunch environment.
Event and Volunteer Coordination
Staff Committees and Events:
Organize and oversee staff committees, providing guidance on event planning, budgets, and operational needs. Track progress and report updates to school leadership.
HSA Liaison:
Serve as the primary point of contact between the school and the Home and School Association for event and calendar coordination.
Volunteer Coordination:
Work with the HSA to recruit, organize, and direct parent volunteers for the lunchroom, special events, and school programs.
Qualifications and Education Requirements
A working knowledge of Catholic education with an understanding of our All Saints Community
A college degree preferred
Experience teaching highly preferred
Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
An expertise in maintaining well-organized systems and tools.
Proficiency in communication and design tools (i.e. Canva, Google Suite, Email programs, etc.)
Complete Diocese-sponsored Safe-Environment Training upon hire
Must be able to thrive with minimal supervision.
Ability to manage time and prioritize accordingly.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work well in a team environment.
