What You'll Do Partner with the Safety Manager to direct safety meetings and ensures ongoing safety training for all shop employees Collaborate with cross-functional teams to link operational (KPIs) and provide recommendations to improve financial and operational efficiency Additionally, perform performance evaluations, create individual development plans and assign tasks to the most appropriate team members. Along with Operations Manager, leads personnel in a professional manner, aligned with CMC's Guiding Principals Daily communication with Shift Leads and Production Operators/ Material Handlers to identify opportunities, issues, and concerns Demonstrate leadership by driving initiatives, influencing outcomes, and fostering accountability Drive continuous improvement in processes, employee productivity, uptime improvements, and lead time reductions Maintain and turn in all daily and monthly reports required by management What You'll Need Proficient in
Microsoft Office:
Word, Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint Excellent communication skills, in both written and verbal form are necessary to be successful in this role Bilingual Spanish preferred Experience with industrial electrical repairs including troubleshooting and repair of
A/C - D/C
drives and motors, PLC's and 480 Volt 3 phase electrical SAP experience strongly preferred Experience with Salesforce a plus Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and troubleshooting skills. Must have an ability to multitask, meet deadlines and handle stress in a fast-paced environment 3-5+ years of supervisory or managerial experience in a production, manufacturing, or rebar related environment (large facility experience preferred) Your Education High School Diploma or GED required Bachelor's degree preferred We are CMC, a Fortune 500® company at the leading edge of our industry.
