Located in the Headwaters neighborhood, WWSE opened in August 2025 as Dripping Springs ISD's sixth elementary school. We serve more than 500 students in grades PK-5 and aremitted to providing differentiated instruction to meet the needs of all children. We strive to equip students to be life-long learners. Description/Notes:
Instructional Management Participate in the development and evaluation of educational programs. Encourage and support development of innovative instructional programs, helping staff pilot such efforts when appropriate. Promote the use of technology in the teaching and learning process. Regularly consult the principal, campus leadership team, and campus advisorymittees regarding planning, operation, supervision, and evaluation of campus educational programs. Organizational Climate Promote a positive and caring climate for learning. Foster collegiality and a sense of teamwork among staff members and encourage involvement in decision-making. Communicate expectations of high performance to staff and students and recognize excellence and achievement. Communicate effectively with students and staff. Deal sensitively and fairly with individuals from diverse backgrounds. Ensure effective and timely resolution of conflicts. Maintain effective two-waymunication with district administrators, staff, students, parents, and themunity. Serve as a bridge between the district and campus to support the district strategic plan and ensure "one vision, one voice, one plan." Organizational Improvement Assist the principal in building a shared vision for school improvement. Identify, analyze, and apply research findings to promote school improvement. Participate in the development of the campus improvement plan including input from staff, parents, andmunity members. Personnel Management Assist in intering, selecting, and orienting new campus staff. Assist in defining expectations for staff performance. Evaluate employee performance and conduct evaluation conferences. Support staff professional growth and development. Document employee performance and provide rmendations to the principal regarding employment decisions. Work with campus leadership teams to plan professional development activities. Uphold and enforce school rules, administrative regulations, and board policy. Management of Fiscal, Administrative, and Facilities Functions Supervise operations in the principal's absence. Comply with federal and state laws, State Board of Education rules, and board policy. Assist with campus budget development and fiscal management. Help plan daily school activities including schedules and assignments. Assist in monitoring student attendance and follow-up investigations. Manage supplies, textbooks, and equipment inventory. Coordinate transportation, custodial, cafeteria, and other support services. Maintain required reports, records, and documents. Manage use and maintenance of school facilities. Direct and monitor co-curricular and extracurricular programs. Assist with emergency management planning and safety drills. Student Management Ensure students are adequately supervised during non-instructional periods. Support a student discipline management system that promotes positive behavior. Ensure school rules are uniformly observed and discipline is equitable. Conduct conferences regarding student concerns with parents, students, and staff. Professional Growth Participate in professional development opportunities. Research district policy, precedent, and current practices prior to action. Seek input from the principal as appropriate. School and Community Relations Articulate the district mission to themunity. Demonstrate awareness ofmunity needs and initiate activities to meet those needs. Encouragemunity and parent involvement. Promote a professional image in themunity. Other Maintain confidentiality regarding student and coworker information in accordance with FERPA. Model integrity and ethics consistent with the Educator Code of Ethics.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
Share supervisory responsibility for professional staff with the principal. Supervise teachers, custodians, paraprofessionals, clerical personnel, and others as assigned.

Master's degree Texas principal or other appropriate Texas certificate

Experience:
Minimum of three years of successful classroom teaching experience
Salary Range:
$69,769 to $96,348 Per Year Full benefits package including group health insurance options with HSA or HRA, and additional options for dental, vision, cancer, disability, AD&D, hospital indemnity, critical illness, emergency transportation, and identity theft.
