DESCRIPTION
The Guidance Department General Assistant performs secretarial duties involving the maintenance of accurate confidential records, processing of college applications, typing or correspondence and will have extensive contact with students, staff and parents. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include (not an all-inclusive list): Enrollment/withdrawal of students Maintenance of students' cumulative files Organization of confidential records and schedules Processing/monitoring student college applications with accompanying transcripts and letters of recommendation Confidential correspondence to parents and others Answer telephone, greet students and parents Assist Guidance Counselors and Guidance Department in general All other duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS
Excellent technology skills proficiency with Microsoft Office and Infinite Campus required. Candidate must be confidential in all matters, able to exercise good judgment, prioritize tasks and communicate effectively. Must work well with parents, students and staff and possess good interpersonal and organizational skills.
