ASSISTANT PRINCIPAL

Secondary Level

QUALIFICATIONS

Master's Degree; Texas Principal or Mid-Management Certification; T-TESS Certified Administrative experience and instructional leadership background desired; Ability to evaluate instructional programs and teacher effectiveness; Strong interpersonal skills; Proven skills in public relations, staff development, and school planning; Proven ability to work effectively with students and community in a diverse population; Knowledge of and ability to promote academic UIL competition; Ability to manage budget and personnel; Extremely computer literate; Knowledge of best innovative educational practices; Knowledge of rigorous, engaging curriculum and instruction; Ability to model technology integration; Knowledge of staffing and scheduling; Proven successful discipline strategies; and Availability to work evenings and weekends
