School Year Certification:

Must hold or be eligible for Delaware Certification in School Administration, including a passing score on the School Leaders Licensure Assessment.

Additional Qualifications:

Five or more years of successful full-time classroom teaching experience required Prior experience as a School Administrator/Assistant Principal preferred Administration Development Program Graduate preferred Participation in a Teacher Leadership role preferred Special Education Teacher/Coordinator experience preferred Clean Criminal Background Check and Child Protection Registry and TB Clearance required prior to employment

Primary Duties:

Assists in the development, implementation, supervision and evaluation of the instructional programs in assigned areas Collaborates with the Principal in coordinating all aspects of the school program and related activities Assumes duties of the principal in his/her absence Maintains appropriate records Assists in the implementation and enforcement of district-wide policies and procedures Provides leadership to staff and students in the maintenance of a safe, clean and orderly school facility Works with the Principal in providing instructional leadership Performs other duties as assigned

Terms of Employment:

Evaluation:

Performance of this job will be evaluated annually by the Principal The following items must be complete by the closing date for interview consideration .
