To Be Determined Job Description Proctor Jr./Sr. High School Girls and Boys Middle School Basketball- Proctor Jr./Sr. High School is seeking a passionate and dedicated Middle School Basketball Coach to lead our student-athletes for the upcoming 2026-2027 season. We are looking for someone with previous coaching experience, dependable, reliable, and must be available to attend activities, practices and meetings outside of school hours necessary. Other responsibilities include:
- Complete a background check and fingerprinting
- Coach individual participants in the skill necessary for excellent achievement in the sport involved
- Proper communication with principal, athletic director, and parents/guardians
- Be present at each practice session and at all contests of the sport. This includes supervision, always at the gym and locker room areas until the area is secured, before and after practices, contests and bus trips
- Enforce discipline and always encourage sportsmanlike behavior
- Perform other duties assigned by the Athletic Director that are deemed to be in the interest of the athletic program, student-athletes and the school
- Keeps Athletic Director up to date on games, practices, and issues or concerns related to the team
- Uphold and enforce standards and rules of athletic program, especially safety rules and standards
