Job Description

POSITION
#097-ADM-04-26: Extended School Year (ESY) Special Education Administrator Special Education 4 hours per day: 8:00 am - 12:00 pm June 22, 2026 - July 17, 2026 (Monday/Tuesday/Wednesday/Thursday)
RESPONSIBILITIES
Assist in the organization, administration and supervision of the Special Education Program. Assist in the development and coordination for all Special Education classrooms, with a primary focus on secondary curriculum to ensure continuity within the district.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Coordinate/obtain materials for classroom teachers. Coordinate with Special Education staff, building principals, and Special Education teachers a planned program for students with disabilities. Coordinate the delivery of support services to students with disabilities. Coordinate the department's Extended School Year Program. Coordinate with building principals for supervision of district Special Education staff and Special Education programming. Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS
Valid Washington State Program Administrator or Principal Credential. Knowledge of Special Education due process and regulations. Demonstrated organization, leadership and group process skills. Ability to work as a team player. Attendance and punctuality are important in this position.
