Full Job Description Position Overview:
Kingdom Heights Preparatory School, a ministry of The Rock Family Worship Center , is seeking a dedicated and faith-driven Elementary Teacher•Kindergarten to nurture academic excellence and spiritual growth in young learners. The ideal candidate will create a dynamic, engaging, and supportive classroom environment while integrating biblical principles into daily instruction.
Qualifications:
Education :
Bachelor's Degree in Education from an accredited university.
Certification :
Valid Alabama teaching certification with appropriate subject area endorsement(s) and grade level.
Skills :
Strong instructional abilities, classroom management, and commitment to faith-based education.
Key Responsibilities:
Faith-Based InstructionLeadership Integrate biblical principles into daily lessons and classroom culture. Serve as a Christ-like role model in interactions with students, staff, and families. Actively participate in chapel services, devotionals, and school-wide faith initiatives. EngagingEffective Teaching Develop and implement lesson plans aligned with the school's curriculum. Differentiate instruction to accommodate diverse learning styles and needs. Utilize innovative teaching methods to create an interactive learning environment. Student SupportClassroom Management Foster a positive, structured, and inclusive classroom culture. Establish and uphold clear expectations for student behavior. Regularly assess student progress and adapt instruction accordingly. CommunicationCollaboration Maintain open, professional communication with parents, colleagues, and administrators. Provide timely feedback on student progress and development. Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching practices.
Physical Requirements:
Frequently lift/move 10-25 lbs , and constantly lift/move up to 10 lbs .
