Key Responsibilities:

Instruction & Curriculum:

Create age-appropriate, hands-on lesson plans covering keyboarding, basic coding, digital citizenship, and research skills.

Technical Support:

Troubleshoot basic hardware and software issues, maintain lab equipment, and coordinate with the district IT department for major repairs.

Collaboration:

Work alongside classroom teachers to align lab activities with general education curriculums and learning goals.

Assessment & Evaluation:

Monitor student progress, grade technology assignments, and provide feedback on technical competencies.

Lab Management:

Enforce computer usage policies, maintain a safe digital environment. Collaborate with teachers to integrate technology into classroom activities and support them in using educational software and tools effectively. Maintain the computer lab's cleanliness, organization, and functionality, including regular equipment checks and updates. Assist with the setup and maintenance of hardware, software, and peripherals in the lab.
