$100/hr + prep and drive time About the Opportunity LA Tutors 123 is seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Mandarin teacher to lead an in-person language program for a partner school's Extended Care program in the Pasadena area. This is a wonderful opportunity for a passionate educator to build and teach a structured Mandarin curriculum for elementary-aged students in a supportive school environment. Class Structure The program consists of two consecutive sessions each

Tuesday:

2:00-3:00 PM — Grades K-2 3:00-4:00 PM — Grades 3-5 Responsibilities Design and develop an age-appropriate Mandarin curriculum for both grade groups Deliver engaging, interactive in-person lessons each Tuesday Adapt instruction to meet the developmental needs of K-2 and 3-5 students Track student progress and maintain a positive, encouraging classroom environment Qualifications Native or near-native Mandarin proficiency Prior experience teaching Mandarin to children, preferably in a classroom or group setting Strong curriculum development skills Reliable, professional, and comfortable working independently Experience with elementary-aged students preferred Why Join LA Tutors 123?
