This is a part-time afternoon position, Monday-Thursday, 12:00-3:30 PM, Fridays 11am-1 PM , with an immediate start. About the Position The teacher will lead General Studies instruction for our combined 1st/2nd grade class, creating engaging learning experiences that meet students at their individual levels while supporting both academic and social-emotional growth.

Responsibilities include:

Teach General Studies to a combined 1st/2nd grade classroom Plan and facilitate engaging, developmentally appropriate lessons Differentiate instruction to meet the needs of students across two grade levels Support students' academic, social, and emotional development Create a warm, structured, and joyful learning environment Build strong relationships with students Collaborate closely with the morning teacher and school team Communicate professionally with colleagues and families Contribute to the positive growth of our small, developing school We're Looking For Someone Who Loves working with young children Has experience teaching elementary-age students Is comfortable differentiating instruction for students at different levels Is warm, patient, positive, and dependable Creates engaging, learner-centered experiences Is collaborative, communicative, and proactive Is comfortable working in a small-school environment Is committed to supporting the whole child A degree in education and/or relevant elementary teaching experience is preferred.
