An Elementary School Teacher teaches elementary school students, usually children ages 5 - 11 who are in kindergarten through fifth or sixth grade, in a public or private school. Teaches all subjects, including reading, writing, math, social studies and science, to one class throughout the school year. Plans curriculum and assesses student progress, manages student behavior and communicates with school parents. May specialize in teaching music, art or physical education, or teach students that are learning English, or work with students with learning disabilities or emotional and behavioral disorders.

Pre-K / Kindergarten Teacher Cherry Valley Brethren Preschool is seeking a caring, energetic, creative, and reliable Pre-K/Kindergarten Teacher to join our Christian preschool team! Our ideal candidate has a passion for early childhood education, enjoys helping children grow academically and spiritually, and has experience teaching using the Abeka curriculum. Qualifications Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience Experience teaching with the A Beka curriculum Minimum of 12 ECE units Strong classroom management and organizational skills Ability to create a positive, nurturing, and engaging learning environment Creative, energetic, reliable, and dependable Strong communication skills with parents, children, and fellow staff members Ability to work as part of a team A commitment to supporting the Christian values and mission of our preschool Responsibilities Plan and implement daily lessons using the A Beka curriculum Teach and prepare children for Kindergarten and future academic success Provide a safe, loving, and engaging classroom environment Support children's academic, social, emotional, and spiritual development Maintain positive communication with parents and staff Participate in school activities, meetings, and special events Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming classroom If you are passionate about teaching young children and want to make a positive impact in a Christian learning environment, we would love to hear from you!
