Job Summary We're seeking a 4th Grade English Language Arts and Social Studies Teacher who is passionate about inspiring young readers, writers, and thinkers. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Establish and maintain a classroom culture of high expectations, respect, and engagement. Develop and deliver standards-aligned lessons in ELA and Social Studies using Fortune School instructional guidelines. Use assessment data to refine instruction and provide targeted student support. Collaborate regularly with colleagues to share best practices and strengthen student outcomes. Communicate effectively with students and families about progress, goals, and classroom activities. Engage parents and guardians as active partners in their child's learning journey. Participate in ongoing professional development and work closely with instructional coaches and school leadership. Qualifications Required:
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university Valid California Multiple Subject Teaching Credential Authorization to teach English Learners (CLAD/BCLAD or equivalent)
Preferred:
1+ years of classroom teaching experience (including intern or student teaching) Demonstrated success improving student literacy and engagement Strong understanding of child development and effective instructional practices
