Our district educates approximately 10,500 students (representing 50 languages) in preschool through eighth grades in 22 outstanding schools. Our family of schools includes three middle schools (Grades 6-8), fifteen elementary schools (TK/K-5), three schools with all grades (K-8), and one Early Education Center. We also have preschools co-located at our six elementary sites. We have various theme based schools: Montessori, Immersion (Spanish and Mandarin), and

San Mateo-Foster City School District is accepting applications for our Mandarin Teacher Pool for the 2026-2027 school year. Applicants must be fluent in Mandarin Chinese (traditional) in listening, speaking, reading, and writing, and have a California Multiple Subject Credential with Mandarin BCLAD required, or be in the process of obtaining Mandarin BCLAD.
