Job Summary Academy for Early Learning is seeking a passionate, experienced, and dedicated Preschool & Kindergarten Teacher to join our team! We are looking for an educator who has experience working with preschool and kindergarten-aged children and has a strong understanding of Pre-K and Kindergarten readiness, early childhood development, and age-appropriate curriculum . Responsibilities Create and implement engaging, developmentally appropriate lesson plans and activities Support children's academic, social-emotional, and cognitive development Prepare children for a successful transition into Kindergarten Implement curriculum that supports early literacy, math, science, language, and social skills Conduct activities that promote Kindergarten readiness Maintain a safe, nurturing, and engaging classroom environment Track and document children's developmental progress Communicate effectively with families regarding children's progress and needs Collaborate with fellow teachers and administration to support the overall success of the program Skills Previous experience teaching preschool and/or kindergarten-aged children Knowledge of Pre-K and Kindergarten readiness standards and expectations Experience implementing an early childhood curriculum Strong understanding of child development and developmentally appropriate practices Ability to create engaging, hands-on learning experiences Excellent communication and classroom management skills Reliable, patient, nurturing, and passionate about working with young children ECE coursework and/or relevant teaching credentials preferred Certification in first aid and CPR is required; additional credentials in special education or early intervention are preferred.
