Milestones Montessori of Lake Forest is looking for a full-time Lead Montessori Teacher for our PreK classroom (2.9 years old to 5 years old) . Candidates must be passionate about this age and interested in being part of a team of quality early childhood educators . Position is Monday - Friday. Shift hours TBD.Required:
Montessori Certification and a minimum of 12 Early Childhood Education units. Responsibilities and Duties- Stimulates emotional, intellectual, and social growth of children by encouraging their interests, investigations, through questions and exploration.
- Encourages children's participation by providing interactive emergent activities.
- Provides a safe environment.
- Works well in a team teaching environment, is able to follow instruction and is able to take initiative in getting classroom duties/responsibilities done.
- Maintains center's professional status by understanding and following policies and procedures.
- Must be able to lift and carry 25 pounds.
