An Elementary School Teacher teaches elementary school students, usually children ages 5 - 11 who are in kindergarten through fifth or sixth grade, in a public or private school. Teaches all subjects, including reading, writing, math, social studies and science, to one class throughout the school year. Plans curriculum and assesses student progress, manages student behavior and communicates with school parents. May specialize in teaching music, art or physical education, or teach students that are learning English, or work with students with learning disabilities or emotional and behavioral disorders.

Job Description

An established and well-respected Montessori school in Millbrae is seeking a warm, nurturing, and dedicated Montessori Toddler Teacher for part-time or full-time positions. We are looking for a passionate educator who loves working with children, values the Montessori philosophy, and is committed to creating a positive and engaging classroom environment.
Responsibilities:
Implement Montessori curriculum and philosophy in the classroom Foster a safe, nurturing, and respectful learning environment Support children's academic, social, and emotional development Maintain a well-organized and prepared Montessori classroom Communicate effectively with parents and staff Collaborate with a supportive teaching team
Qualifications:
Montessori certification (preferred) 12 ECE units required (per California licensing requirements) Experience working with preschool-aged children Strong classroom management and communication skills Reliable, professional, and team-oriented
