Duties Design and implement engaging lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards, incorporating literacy education, math, and early childhood development principles Foster a positive classroom atmosphere through effective classroom management and behavior management strategies Assess student progress regularly using standardized testing methods and provide tailored tutoring or interventions as needed Integrate learning technology tools to enhance instructional delivery and student engagement Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum development, special education accommodations, and inclusive teaching practices for students with autism or other needs Mentor new teachers or teaching assistants, sharing best practices in childhood development and classroom management Maintain accurate records of student performance, attendance, and behavioral observations for education administration purposes Experience Prior classroom experience working with young children in an elementary or preschool setting is essential Demonstrated expertise in lesson planning, literacy education, math instruction, and working with students of diverse backgrounds Familiarity with learning technology platforms and library services to support student research and literacy skills Strong communication skills for engaging effectively with students, parents, colleagues, and administrators Proven ability to manage a classroom environment through effective behavior management techniques This role is ideal for passionate educators eager to make a meaningful impact on young lives.
