As the Academy prepares to open its state-of-the-art new campus in the 2026-2027 school year, we are seeking a strong, visionary 5th grade teacher to help shape the next chapter of our school community. Responsibilities
  • Cultivate a classroom culture of active inquiry, collaboration, academic rigor, and responsive learning that engages every student and fosters meaningful partnerships with colleagues.
  • Maintain the highest standards of academic excellence and social-emotional learning, ensuring that students are supported, challenged, and empowered to succeed.
  • Design and implement standards-based instruction that meets and exceeds Common Core State Standards (CCSS) through thoughtful, engaging, and differentiated lesson planning.
  • Build and nurture strong partnerships with families through proactive communication, mutual trust, and a shared commitment to student growth and well-being.
  • Demonstrate a growth mindset as a reflective practitioner who is flexible, curious, innovative, and committed to fostering an inclusive and thriving classroom community.
  • Embrace continuous professional growth by actively participating in instructional coaching, action research, collaborative reflection, and ongoing professional learning.
  • Possess strong content knowledge in mathematics, science, literacy, and social studies, with experience implementing curriculum programs and a willingness to learn and adapt to new instructional resources.
  • Lead by example through democratic classroom practices, active inquiry, Socratic questioning, progressive educational approaches, and meaningful connections between the classroom and the broader community.
